alcohol hydrometer Alcohol Hydrometer
Alcohol Hydrometers use specific gravity to measure percent alcohol by volume in your distilled product. A Graduated Cylinder of at least 250ml is needed to contain the solution and allow the hydrometer to float freely for an accurate reading. Each hydrometer is carefully calibrated and individually retested for accuracy.
    Specifactions:
  • Length 290mm
  • Tralle Range 0 to 100%
  • Proof Range 0 to 200%
  • Subdivisions 1.0%/ 2.0%
  • Tolerance ±1.0% / ±2.0%
  • Calibrated at 60°F

brix hydrometer Brix Hydrometer
Brix Hydrometers are calibrated to show the percentage of sucrose by weight. The Brix Scale is based on the following: 1° Brix = 1% sucrose by weight at specified temperature (20°C). The Brix scale is commonly used to measure the sugar content of various juices and "ripeness" of fruit. A Graduated Cylinder of at least 250ml is needed to contain the solution and allow the hydrometer to float freely for an accurate reading. A Brix scale Refractometer can also be used to obtain results with just several drops of solution.
    Specifactions:
  • Length 290mm
  • Brix Range 0 to 35
  • Subdivisions .5
  • Calibrated at 60°F
