Temperature Assembly
This assembly consists of a 1-hole rubber stopper sized to fit the distillation flask in place of the normal glass stopper. The partial immersion thermometer reads up to 110 C. for applications where temperature must be closely monitored in the distillation procedure. For most accurate readings the thermometer bulb should be positioned just below the side arm.

Brix Hydrometer
Brix Hydrometers are calibrated to show the percentage of sucrose by weight. The Brix Scale is based on the following: 1° Brix = 1% sucrose by weight at specified temperature (20°C). The Brix scale is commonly used to measure the sugar content of various juices and "ripeness" of fruit. A Graduated Cylinder of at least 250ml is needed to contain the solution and allow the hydrometer to float freely for an accurate reading.

Alcohol Hydrometer
Alcohol Hydrometers use specific gravity to measure percent alcohol by volume in your distilled product. A Graduated Cylinder of at least 250ml is needed to contain the solution and allow the hydrometer to float freely for an accurate reading. Each hydrometer is carefully calibrated and individually retested for accuracy.

From our in-house testing, we have found this versatile hot plate to be a good low-price alternative for those who do not wish to invest in a $250 Heating Mantle. Using the round-bottom ceramic adaptor, we brought 500ml of water to a boil in 14 minutes for a simple distillation procedure. Tubing Adaptors
For adapting a standard faucet or garden hose to fit 3/8" tubing used to supply cooling water to the condenser for distillation.

Dual Thread Faucet Adaptor is used to covert ordinary faucets to standard Garden Hose Thread.

Garden Hose to 3/8" Tubing Adaptor is used to reduce the garden hose to 3/8 tubing.

Both adaptors are needed to run your condenser from an ordinary faucet. If you are using a garden hose for your water source, you only need the Garden Hose Adaptor.

Rubber Tubing
High grade, medium wall tubing, for school and laboratory use. This tubing is made of seamless red rubber and sold by the 10' roll.

Graham Condenser
Graham-type coil condensers. These high-quality borosilicate glass condensers measure 39 cm overall. Cooling water inlet and outlet diameter is 5mm, use 3/8" rubber tubing. The machine tapered product inlet measures 14mm. This is the same size condenser used with the 1000ml distillation apparatus. An excellent value!
